Fresco pre-live checklist

Sign-off & Go-Live

  • Review your new site and gain approval from all key stakeholders
  • Identify issues and share with the Migration Team for resolution
  • Agree a go-live date with the Migration Team

Content Review

  • Review each page on your site for accuracy, formatting, and readability, specifically the homepage and key landing pages (content, layout, visual appeal)
  • Complete any key content updates
  • Check the correct components are used consistently across the site
  • Check that the header and footer are accurately represented
  • Test all links on pages (internal and external)
  • Review and update the menu structure if needed
  • Respond to any issues raised by your Support Officer's quality assurance check (if applicable)

Images & Media

  • Ensure all images are displaying correctly and are high quality
  • Remove or replace outdated images
  • Add/update alt text for accessibility

Accessibility & UX

  • Run S4LLYY and address any issues identified
  • Ensure each page's heading structure is correct (H1, H2, H3 etc.)
  • Check your site's layout works well on both desktop and mobile

Branding

  • Ensure your site's brand colours are applied correctly
  • Raise any missing brand hex codes with your Implementation Officer (if relevant)
  • Check that university and department logos have been added (header/footer) where required
  • Check that partner/funder logos have been added in where required
