It is important that all Mosaic compliance pages be manually deleted from the migrated site.

The Mosaic compliance pages are out of date and no longer reflect current guidance. Including them could cause confusion because Fresco sites will automatically include new compliance pages and there is a risk that an outdated page could be accidentally published, leading to potential legal implications. Removing these ensures that migrated sites start with a clean slate for compliance setup.

There could be as many as three sets of compliance pages when a site is migrated to Fresco:

1. Mosaic default compliance pages
2. Mosaic bespoke compliance pages (created by the Site Owner and/or team)
3. Fresco default compliance pages

Please ensure all instances of Mosaic compliance pages (items 1 and 2 above) are deleted, leaving only the Fresco compliance pages (item 3).

Below is a list of Fresco default and Mosaic default pages for reference. Please note that page names and aliases are all similar, so it’s important to check for any references to Mosaic. Any bespoke Mosaic pages will also resemble the default ones, so review carefully. 

1. Copyright (Alias: /copyright)

2. Privacy policy (Alias: /privacy-policy)

The page will look like the screenshot below and include references to Fresco.

3. Accessibility statement (Alias: /copyright)

The page will look like the screenshot below and include references to Fresco.

There are five pages to delete, and there could be other bespoke versions too.

1. Accessibility Statement (Alias: /accessibility)

The page will look like the screenshot below and include references/links to Mosaic.

2. Picture Credits (Alias: /picture-credits)

The page may or may not be blank - only the page title will appear.

3. Cookies (Alias: /cookies)

This is a long text page with tables and references/links to Mosaic. The top of the page looks like this:
